Client asked me to 'just copy the internet' onto a USB drive last Tuesday

Sat in a small office in Tulsa while a lady pointed at a 64GB flash drive and insisted I could put 'the whole web' on it. Had to explain bandwidth and storage limits for 20 minutes before she finally gave up. Anyone else get requests that make you question your entire career choice?

Wait, did she actually think the internet was just a bunch of files sitting on a server somewhere that you could download? I gotta know if she had a specific website in mind or if she really wanted the entire thing, like every cat video and Wikipedia page ever made. Because that kind of misunderstanding has to come from somewhere, right?

750 terabytes is just the tip of the iceberg for what's actually out there, so good luck downloading the whole thing on her home WiFi. Honestly, she probably saw that one episode of The Office where they think a server is a magical box and ran with it. Ngl, I'd pay to see the look on her face when the download finished and all she got was a single 404 error page.
