Can we talk about a weird fix for a stubborn boot loop on a Dell Optiplex 3070?
Had a machine that would just reboot after the Dell logo, and the usual CMOS clear and RAM reseat did nothing. On a whim, I pulled the little coin cell battery and left it out for a full 10 minutes, not just 30 seconds, and it finally posted. Has anyone else found that a longer battery pull is needed on some of these newer models?

My old Optiplex 5040 needed that same long reset jamieh76 mentioned.

Oh man, that totally works sometimes. I had a similar thing with an old Optiplex that just would not wake up. Pulling the battery for a minute did nothing, but leaving it out while I made coffee, maybe ten minutes, did the trick. It's like the board needs that extra time to really forget all its old bad settings. I keep a spare battery in my drawer now just for that long reset.

Twelve minutes on a 3070 did it for me after @michael_baker's tip, so yeah, some of these boards need the full deep sleep.
