TIL a single parking space can be worth more than a condo in some markets
Was reading a CBRE report last week and saw that a monthly parking spot in downtown Boston can run $650 to $750. That's almost $9,000 a year for a piece of asphalt with some paint stripes. I ran the numbers on a small lot I was looking at in Cambridge and the parking income alone covered the whole mortgage. Anyone else here actually buying surface lots just for the parking cash flow?
