Finally got a tenant signed after 6 months of vacancy on a strip mall unit near Huntsville

I tried lowering the rent by 10% and offering 2 months free, which I thought was too generous, but it worked within 3 weeks. Has anyone else had luck with rent concessions in smaller markets?

I lowered my rent once and still couldn't find a tenant for 8 months lol.

Wait, how could that even happen? I mean, you lowered the price and still sat empty for 8 months? Thats wild. What city are you in? The market must be really dead or something because around here people would snap that up fast.
