Chose the warehouse with older HVAC over the flashy new build near the highway
I picked the older property with the 15-year-old HVAC system because the newer one on Route 9 had a sinking parking lot from bad drainage, and the inspection report I got back on the old unit showed it was actually serviced every 6 months like clockwork - has anyone else dealt with a flashy building hiding way bigger problems?

That flashy building hiding way bigger problems" line hits home hard. My buddy rented a spot in a brand new strip mall that looked amazing from the road. Six months in, the roof started leaking during the first real rain, and turns out the contractor had used the wrong flashing material to save money. Landlord took forever to fix it because they were fighting with the builder, and my pal lost a bunch of inventory to water damage. Did the inspection show any issues with the old warehouse's roof or just the HVAC?
