Appreciation post: That strip mall on Elm Street that sat empty for 4 years finally got a tenant

I drove past it every day for 4 years watching it rot with the same faded For Lease sign in the window, then this month a bagel shop moved in and painted the whole place yellow and now there is a line out the door every morning, anyone else notice how one good tenant can flip a whole corner?

...and a year from now we'll be posting about how the bagel shop couldn't make rent and it's a vape store. People act like a single business is gonna fix the whole neighborhood, but it's just a bagel shop, not a community center.
