Supervisor on deck told me to 'just feel it' for a valve alignment
Last Tuesday in the Gulf, I had a guy yell at me through comms to align a 4 inch line by feel because the drawings were 'close enough.' I burned 20 minutes guessing, came up, and he had the wrong valve number the whole time. Anyone else deal with deck staff who think muscle memory beats a checklist underwater?
