Saw something odd on a pier leg in San Diego that made me rethink my whole pre-dive check
I was doing a routine inspection on a pier leg in San Diego and found a 2 inch gouge in the concrete right where a lift bag strap had been rubbing for who knows how long. It looked fine from the surface and nobody flagged it. How often do you guys check for wear points on the structure itself versus just your own gear?
