Noticed a huge difference in my visor visibility after switching to a different antifog spray 2 weeks ago

I was using that cheap spray from the hardware store and my mask would fog up within 10 minutes on a cold dive. Switched to a brand called Sea Drops that a guy in the Gulf recommended and I can actually see the whole dive now without wiping. Anyone else have a weird little gear swap that made a big difference?

Oh man, I went through the same thing with that cheap hardware store spray, thought I was saving money but I couldn't see a thing past the first five minutes. Sea Drops sounds like a total game changer, maybe I'll give up my old tricks before I run into a reef. Guess there's something to paying a little more for a product that actually does its job underwater.

Honestly, how many of us have to learn that lesson the hard way before it sticks? I tried the same thing with some bargain bin spray from a marine surplus store, figured it was all the same stuff. Next thing I know I'm fogging up my mask every 30 seconds and basically swimming blind, almost had a very expensive conversation with a coral head. Sometimes the "cheap" route is just paying for a headache you could have avoided for 5 bucks more.
