Hot take: twin-hose regulators aren't obsolete for deep work
I switched back to a twin-hose setup for jobs below 120 feet after fighting with my second-stage freeflow on a wreck off Cape Cod last October. Am I missing something, or are the new single-hose purists just not doing enough actual bottom time?

Ngl, that Cape Cod freeflow story is terrifying. Glad you made it back up.

Three hundred feet of unvented tunnel is a lot of water pushing on you, sure. But I've done a few freeflows myself, and honestly @sethp26, the worst part is usually the panic more than the actual water. You can get out of most of them if you stay calm and just follow the line back.
