Dropped $600 on a used drysuit and it leaked like a sieve first dive
Picked up a used DUI drysuit off a guy on Facebook marketplace for $600 last month. Took it out for a test dive off the coast near Galveston and came up with wet socks and a damp chest. Sent it to a repair shop and they said the neck seal was shot and the zipper was on its way out. Anyone else had a used drysuit totally screw them over like that?

Lmao my buddy bought a used one and his crotch was soaking by minute five.

Could the seals have been dried out from sitting in storage too long before you bought it? I've seen used gear that looked fine on the rack but the rubber had basically turned brittle from age. Your mileage may vary, but next time maybe ask the seller when they last replaced the seals before pulling the trigger.
