That Wednesday in 2019 when my pull list was just... perfect
I had spent the morning dealing with a flat tire and a missed bus, but I walked into my LCS around 2pm and every single book on my pull was there, plus the guy behind the counter had set aside a variant cover I didn't even ask for. Has anyone else had a day where everything just clicked at the shop like that, where the whole week of bad luck flipped around in 10 minutes?

That Wednesday morning I would have said pull lists are just a gimmick to keep you coming back. But then my shop called about a second print of a book that sold out fast, held it behind the counter for three days until I could get there. Changed how I look at the whole thing. Sometimes the system works when you least expect it.
