That one guy at the Dallas con changed how I sort my pulls

Back at Comic Con Dallas in 2019, some dude in a Deadpool costume saw me digging through a short box by alphabetical order. He laughed and told me I was doing it all wrong, said to sort by publisher then release date instead. Tried it for my last 200 books and now I actually find what I'm looking for in under a minute. Anyone else have a random stranger drop a tip that stuck with you?

Switched to that method a few years ago and it changed everything, now I can actually grab the specific issue I want from a longbox without flipping through everything. The publisher separator is key for keeping runs from different companies from bleeding into each other.

Guess my longboxes are just fancy museum vaults with how long it takes me to find anything in them.
