Spent $120 on a variant cover that was supposed to be 'rare'
I saw this comic at my local shop in Austin that had a foil variant cover, only 500 copies made (they said). Felt like a hot ticket item so I dropped $120 on it. Turns out the store owner was just hyping it up and the thing is worth maybe $30 now on eBay. Has anyone else fallen for those 'limited print' gimmicks?
