Remember when Wednesday meant new comic day and you'd actually have to race to the shop before they sold out?

I showed up at my local shop last Wednesday at 4 PM to pick up a new run and the owner said they had extra copies sitting in the back because nobody showed up until Saturday anymore, has anyone else noticed the whole weekly rhythm just died out?

Haha oh man, isn't that the truth! It feels like every holiday or special event just gets drowned out by a bigger corporate push for the next one. Like, remember when Valentine's Day stuff started showing up before we even finished carving pumpkins? I swear, retailers are just trying to stretch every possible day into a shopping frenzy. Makes you wonder if they even care about the actual holiday or just the sales numbers. It's exhausting honestly.
