My graded comic came back with a giant crease from the shipping box
Sent my CGC 9.8 Batman #423 to a seller in Austin for a trade last Tuesday, and they packed it in a flimsy mailer with zero padding. Got it back with a spine roll and a crease down the middle, worth maybe $150 less than what we agreed on. I'm stuck with a ruined slab and the seller keeps saying it was fine when it left. Has anyone else had a grader or shipper wreck a key book and actually got them to pay up?

Did you take photos of the box and the slab the second you opened it, or before you even pulled it out of the mailer? That's the only way you're gonna have any real leverage with the post office or his insurance claim.
