Hit Issue 1000 in my collection and realized I have a Problem

I was just counting my longboxes last night and found out I'm sitting at exactly 1,032 comic books after 12 years of collecting. That number hit me hard because I've never actually added them up before and now I'm wondering how much money I've thrown at variant covers and back issues. How do you guys keep your collection from taking over your whole apartment?

lol I feel you but honestly 1000 books across 12 years isn't that bad. That's like 80 something a year which is barely a pull list and a couple back issues lol. I think having a "problem" is more like when you can't walk through your room or you're buying stuff you don't even want to read. If you still love everything you've got then it's just a solid collection man.

Ask @victor_butler50 if he's ever actually had to downsize his own collection (or if he's just giving advice from a theoretical place). I feel like the real test is when you move apartments and realize you can't fit your longboxes in the car. That's when you start asking hard questions about that one variant you bought just because the cover looked cool.
