Had a weirdly good day at the back issue bins last Tuesday

So last Tuesday I hit up my local shop in Nashville after work, just planning to flip through the dollar bin like always. But this time I found a run of Groo the Wanderer issues from the late 80s that were in really solid shape, not even a crease on the covers. The guy behind the counter saw me get excited and said he had a box of old Marvel two-in-one comics in the back if I wanted to look. I spent about 45 minutes digging through dust and came out with a full run of Thing and Ben Grimm team-ups for under 20 bucks. That never happens to me, I usually find nothing but water damaged junk. Has anyone else had a random shop owner hook them up with hidden stock like that?

That "weirdly good day" thing usually just means the shop owner saw you coming and dumped their overstock on you... I've been burned too many times thinking I scored when really I was just helping them clear shelf warmers.

Wait, did you accidentally walk into the wrong comic shop or something? That kind of luck usually only happens to other people, not me. I'm pretty sure the universe keeps a tally and I'm way in the negative on that one.
