Am I the only one who misses digging through a long box to find a back issue?
I was at my shop in Dayton last Thursday and a kid, maybe 16, asked me why I don't just order everything online and be done with it. Told him there's a thing about flipping through a box of old Spider-Man issues and finding one you forgot you needed, and he just nodded like I was talking about a rotary phone. It got me thinking about how I mostly buy trades now and my pull list is 4 books deep, when ten years ago I had a box at the shop with like 30 titles in it. Part of it is money and shelf space, sure, but some of it is that hunting for a specific issue was half the fun. Does anyone here still keep a sub box going, or has everyone moved on to digital and trades too?
