Wasted $80 on a coffee gadget that just collects dust
I got really excited about this little handheld frother I saw online last month, said it could make cafe style foam at home. Spent $80 on it thinking it would change my morning coffee. Used it twice and the battery died fast, plus the foam was thin and fell apart in minutes. Now it just sits in my drawer and I'm back to my old french press. Anyone know a good way to make real foam without a big machine?

Yeah, the "coffee foam drama" is real. I saw a whole article about how the type of milk changes the foam structure, something about proteins and fat content. It gets pretty deep for just trying to make a latte at home.
