Vent: My new espresso machine died after exactly 47 shots, and the warranty was worthless

The grinder seized up on a Tuesday morning, Baratza said it's 'out of spec' for home use, and now I'm stuck hand-grinding beans for my morning fix - has anyone else dealt with a warranty team that just reads from a script and won't actually help?

Man, that's brutal. 47 shots is nothing for a machine that costs that much, it should last years not weeks. Baratza's warranty team gave me the same runaround when my Vario started acting up - they just kept repeating the same line about 'intended use' like a broken record. Really feels like they're banking on most people giving up after a few calls. I'd be pissed too having to hand grind after dropping real money on an electric setup. Hope you can at least get a partial refund or credit out of them if you push hard enough.

@dylan265 nailed it with the "broken record" thing. That's exactly how they handle you. 47 shots for that price is just insulting. You get anything out of them yet?
