TIL that stirring my grounds before brewing fixed my sour cup, but now I'm second-guessing the whole thing
For about 6 months my morning cup kept coming out sour and thin no matter how I set my grinder, so out of pure frustration last week I stirred the grounds in the dripper with a spoon before pouring, and the cup came out way sweeter. My friend who works at a cafe in Denver says that just means my grind is uneven and I should fix that instead of stirring like a weirdo. So is stirring a real fix or am I just covering up a bad grinder, and which side are you on?
