Pulled a rank shot on my new lever machine and made a mess on the kitchen counter
Got a Flair 58 last Tuesday and finally tried it out Saturday morning. Watched like 5 videos, thought I had the pressure dialed in. Nope. The lever slammed down and hot coffee shot sideways off the drip tray, got all over my white shirt and the grout. Wife just stood there with her mug asking if I needed a mop or a priest. Took me 4 more tries to get something drinkable, and even then it was sour. Anyone else wreck their first few shots on a lever and feel like the whole learning curve is steeper than they expected?
