Pro tip: watch who you ask about pour over grind size

Last Saturday at a local cupping in Austin, this guy with a fancy tattoo sleeve told me my V60 was clogging because I was grinding too fine. I laughed it off and kept pulling shots at home, but after two weeks of bitter cups I finally listened. He was right, I backed off three clicks on my hand grinder and the whole flavor opened up. Those cupping folks are hit or miss, but sometimes a random stranger just nails your whole problem in one sentence.
