Just dropped $85 on a fancy coffee grinder and it made my morning worse
Bought a burr grinder off Amazon thinking it'd level up my drip coffee game. First use, the thing clogged up with oily beans and made a mess all over my counter. Has anyone else had luck with cheaper manual grinders instead?

What kind of oily beans were you running through it though? I've had a Baratza Encore for like 4 years and it's never clogged once. Dark roast oily beans are a pain in any grinder I've tried, manual or electric. You gotta clean the burrs more often with those.

Heard oily beans are a nightmare for burr grinders lol manual ones handle em way better
