Wasted $35 on a Python course, free YouTube videos did more
I bought this 'Python for complete beginners' course on Udemy during a sale, figured why not for $35. Turned out the instructor spent 20 minutes on setup and the examples were so basic they felt pointless. Meanwhile I found Corey Schafer's free videos and a Reddit thread that walked through building a simple expense tracker in 2 days. Has anyone else paid for a course and then found free stuff that worked way better?

Ugh, that stings! I feel your pain, I've totally been there. It's wild how some of the best stuff online is free, and you end up paying for something that just repeats the basics.
