Update: I saw a digital menu board glitch at a cafe in Seattle

I was getting coffee yesterday and the screen showing the menu started flickering with random code. It looked like HTML tags mixed with prices. I asked the barista about it and she said their new system had a bug that showed the backend sometimes. It made me think about how even simple things we see every day run on code. Has anyone else seen a public tech fail that made you curious about how it works?

Next time ask for a reboot, @the_iris, that usually fixes these display bugs.

Honestly it's just a screen glitch, happens all the time. People act like it's some deep peek behind the curtain but it's just a buggy program. Not everything needs to be a philosophical moment about tech.
