Spent three hours trying to deploy my first React app on Netlify and it turned out I just forgot to add the build command in the settings.
Has anyone else spent way too long debugging deployment issues only to find it was something this simple?

Right? I spent a whole afternoon once because I had a typo in my package.json and couldn't figure out why the build was failing. It's always the tiniest dumb stuff that eats up the most time, feels like a rite of passage at this point. Glad I'm not the only one who's been there, makes me feel a little less stupid about it.

And another thing that gets me about this stuff is how deployment setups are designed to make you feel like a genius when it works and a complete fool when it doesn't. There's like this unspoken rule that you need to have already failed at least three times before you're allowed to call yourself a real developer. Honestly the real talent is being able to laugh at yourself after spending hours on something so dumb. But hey at least you didn't delete your entire git repo by accident like someone I know did last week.
