Appreciation post: That one Thursday I got my first form to actually submit data
Last Thursday after like 3 weeks of banging my head against PHP, I finally got a contact form to actually send data to a database. No tutorials, no copy paste, just me and a bunch of error messages lol. It was just a name and email field, nothing fancy, but seeing that row show up in phpMyAdmin felt huge. I even screamed a little and my roommate thought something was broken. How did you guys celebrate your first real milestone that actually worked?

Had a similar moment with my first API call. Felt like I hacked the matrix or something. My cat got a very confused hug that day.

Ha, man I remember that feeling. My first win was getting a simple dropdown menu to actually change the page content without a full reload, just raw JavaScript. I spent like four hours on a Saturday tweaking one line of code, and when it finally worked I stood up and slow clapped for my monitor. My dog got real nervous and started barking at the laptop like it was a threat. Then I immediately broke it again trying to add a second option, and that took another two days to fix. But for that ten seconds of glory, I felt like a wizard.
