The day a 0.001 indicator taught me my offsets were lying
Ran a 30 part batch last Tuesday on our old Haas, checking bores with a mic like I always did. Tolerances were green on paper, but the parts wobbled on the fixture. Grab a dial test indicator, find the spindle is cutting 0.002 low on the X side only, every single time. My offsets had been off for probably 2 years, and I never caught it because I only trusted the tool setter. Anyone else had a sneaky geometry issue that only showed up when you stopped trusting the numbers and actual measured the tool path?

Yep, my pallet jog messed up a whole week of jobs before I noticed.
