Hit 10,000 hours on my Haas VF-2 last Tuesday
I walked in and saw the runtime meter exactly at 10,000.0 hours. That machine was bought new in 2012 and I've been the only guy running it since 2015. Just kinda hit me how many parts that thing has spit out. Thousands of engine blocks and brackets and random one-offs for local shops. Anybody else ever catch a round number like that and just stop to think about it?

Man, that hits different. I had the exact same moment with my old Fadal about two years ago. It ticked over 25,000 hours and I just stood there staring at the screen. Felt like I was looking at a whole career summed up in one number. You think about every setup, every broken tap, every late night trying to get a rush job out the door. It's weird how a machine that's just iron and wires can hold so much of your time and sweat. Congrats on keeping that Haas running strong, that's no small thing.
