Found out my local shop has been using wrong coolant mix ratios for years

I was cleaning out a Haas VF-2 last week and pulled the coolant tank to pressure wash it. Noticed the coolant concentrate was a third of what the manual says. Asked the owner why and he said they've been doing it that way since 2019 to save money. I ran a test batch with the right ratio and the tool life jumped by about 20% on our aluminum parts. Has anyone else seen shops cut corners on coolant mix like this?

20% is believable but coolant ratio ain't gonna make or break your tool life that much.
