Bought a cheap edge finder set, cost me a full shift and a ruined part

Picked up a bargain 10 pack of edge finders online for like $25. Figured theyd be fine for quick setups. First one wobbled so bad I thought my spindle was bent. Second one snapped off the tip halfway through locating on a 6061 block. Lost the whole morning redoing my setup and scrapped a part that took me 2 hours to program. Shoulda just spent the $60 on a single decent brand. Anyone else burn money on tooling bundles that turned out to be junk?
