Showerthought: that one weird cloud over Phoenix took me 3 months to figure out
I kept seeing this flat gray saucer sitting alone over the valley and swore it was a lenticular, but 3 months later a spotter in Phoenix told me it was just a pileus popping off a dying thunderhead. Now I feel dumb for arguing with people about it, so does anyone else mix those two up?
