Saw a shelf cloud over Lake Erie last Tuesday, never ran so fast for my phone

I was out near Cleveland watching the sky turn green when this massive horizontal roll cloud just slid across the water, looked like a giant wave made of storm. It moved maybe 200 feet above the lake and the whole thing lasted about 10 minutes before the rain hit. Anyone else catch a shelf cloud that close and just freeze instead of grabbing a pic?

Three whole seconds I stood there with my phone in my pocket, just staring like a deer in headlights while the sky looked like a dinner plate about to flip over. By the time my dumb brain kicked in and told my hand to move, the shelf cloud was already past the marina and the first raindrop hit my shoulder. I swear my neighbor Dave got a perfect shot of it from his porch with his flip phone, which is just embarrassing. Honestly though, if I had taken a picture, I probably would have dropped my phone in the lake and lost it for good, so maybe my frozen brain was doing me a favor.
