Rant: my phone locked up after 47 sky pics in one afternoon and a windstorm taught me a $0 fix
Last Tuesday I was out on the east side of Flagstaff watching a squall line roll in, and I got weirdly obsessed with these low shelf clouds that kept changing shape every couple minutes. I ended up shooting 47 pictures in about an hour and a half, and right when the best mammatus clouds showed up my phone just froze, screen stuck, camera app dead. I stood there watching the sky do the coolest thing I had seen all spring while my phone sat useless in my hand. That night I went digging and found out my storage was basically full, so the phone had no room to buffer. Cleared off about 2 gigs of old junk and it has not locked up since, even on a 60 shot day. Now I shoot in bursts, then pause and delete the blurry ones right there on the spot, which also makes me look at each shot harder. Has anyone else had their camera choke at the worst possible second, and did you figure out the cause?
