Mammatus clouds over my parking lot vs. the blurry mess I got from my phone's auto mode
Honestly I stood in the Kroger parking lot on 5th Street for 20 minutes watching these weird bubble clouds roll in last Thursday. My phone's auto mode turned them into gray mush, but when I switched to manual and dropped the exposure two stops, every single pouch popped out sharp. Tbh I didn't even know mammatus was a thing until a guy next to me with a real camera pointed up and started yelling. Anyone else find that phone auto settings butcher cool cloud shapes, or is it just my old Pixel?
