I think the new wind farm near Red Rock is actually messing with our cloud patterns

I've been watching the sky from my back porch in Nevada for years, and the clouds always rolled in a certain way from the west. Since they built that big wind farm about 8 miles out six months ago, the low stratus clouds break up way before they get here. It's like the turbines chop the cloud layer into pieces. I used to get these great, solid overcast mornings, now it's just scattered junk. Has anyone else near a wind project seen this happen?

It's wild how much we can see human stuff mess with nature's flow. I've watched the same thing happen with morning fog in valleys after they clear-cut a ridge nearby. The air just moves different when we put big stuff in the way.

We had the same thing happen near the Laramie Ridge project. I started taking daily photos of the skyline to track it, and the cloud shredding effect is real. My solution was just getting used to the new broken cloud patterns, honestly.
