I finally spotted a mammatus cloud over my house last Tuesday and it scared me half to death

I was looking up at the sky around 4pm last Tuesday near my place in Dayton, Ohio after a storm passed through and saw these weird pouch-like clouds hanging underneath the main cloud layer. They looked like big saggy bags and I read later they can show up before severe weather like tornadoes or hail. Has anyone else seen these and felt like the sky was warning you about something?

Yeah I saw those once in Indiana and honestly thought the sky was melting. Looked like someone hung wet laundry up there. Did you get any bad weather after?

Saw the same thing in Ohio last spring and a tornado touched down about an hour later.
