Got called out for photographing clouds in a museum parking lot and now I shoot there every week
Two months ago I was in the parking lot of the art museum in Omaha, Nebraska and a security guy walked up and asked what I was doing. I pointed up at this huge anvil cloud that looked like a fist, and instead of telling me to leave, he said it was the best one he had seen all summer. I had been driving 40 minutes out to farmland to get clean sky shots, but that lot sits on a hill with zero trees and I get better views there than anywhere else in town. Now I stop by every Tuesday after work and the same guard waves at me. Where do you all go when your usual spot gets boring?
