Drove out to the Palouse in Washington and the sky looked like a giant quilt
I took a drive out past Pullman last Tuesday and pulled over on a gravel road because the clouds were all lined up in rows like someone laid them out with a ruler. The little puffs went on for miles in even strips, and a farmer parked nearby mentioned it happens a lot when the wind rolls over the hills that way. What do you call that pattern, and does it show up anywhere else or is it a Palouse thing?
