Was skeptical about solar panels for 2 years until my neighbor's bill dropped by 60 bucks a month

My neighbor Tim installed panels on his ranch house near Austin last spring and his electric bill went from $140 to $80 during peak summer months. I always thought the upfront cost was too high but seeing real numbers changed my mind. Anyone else here get convinced by a friend's actual savings instead of the marketing spin?

Shows you how fast things add up, doesn't it. @lucas_price83 once you start tracking every dollar, you see how many little surprises are hiding in plain sight. Kind of makes you wonder what else we're just not noticing.
