Swapped my gas mower for a reel mower after 2 failed repairs
My old gas mower kept dying mid-cut in July, and after the second $80 repair bill I just got sick of it. Bought a basic push reel mower for $120 and honestly my lawn looks just as good, takes me maybe 20 extra minutes. Has anyone else made a similar switch and found their neighbors asking about it, or am I just the weird one on the block?

Different strokes I guess, but mine took twice as long and the cut was patchy unless I mowed every 4 days in spring. Maybe your grass is just more forgiving than mine.
