Spent 4 hours at the Boise city council meeting last Tuesday and walked out believing in bike lanes
I went in ready to argue that the $2.3 million for separated lanes on State Street was a waste, but after hearing a paramedic describe scraping a cyclist off that same road twice in one month, plus a shop owner say his employees can't afford to park downtown, I flipped and now I'm the guy emailing the mayor about phase two.
