Solar panels in Fresno didn't cut my bill, here's what happened after 14 months

I got mine installed in March last year through a big local installer, paid $18,500 upfront. First three months the bill dropped from $220 to like $40, so I was all in. Then June hit and the summer heat made my AC run all day, plus the panels only produced half what they promised on those 105 degree afternoons. By August I was back to $180 monthly and the company kept pointing to their fine print about 'estimated annual output.' Last month I checked my actual generation data against their sales pitch and I'm about 22% below what they swore I'd get. Anyone else see their real numbers miss the estimate in hot climates like this?
