Rant: I switched from paper flyers to a weekly email for our cleanup crew and I was wrong about it
I ran our neighborhood cleanup group in Ferndale off printed flyers for about a year, and I was convinced email would flop because half the folks on my block are older and don't check it much. After our April pickup only 6 people showed up out of 30 flyers, I gave the email list a shot for the June one. We hit 22 volunteers, and I think the big thing was the reminder that goes out the night before, which paper just can't do. Your mileage may vary depending on your block, but has anyone else had luck mixing both, like email plus one door hanger for the folks who never open it?
