Can we talk about the number I saw on a trash truck last week
I was stuck behind a garbage truck in Boise last Tuesday and the side panel said one truck can haul 12 tons of trash in a single shift. I always pictured my household waste as this tiny drop in the bucket, but 12 tons from one truck in one day really put a number on it for me. Does anyone here know how much of that actually gets diverted from a landfill versus just buried?
