Tried the new drive-thru coffee spot in Westlake last week, total chaos

I stopped at that new place on Center Ridge near Dover Center around 7:30 AM last Tuesday. Line went halfway down the block and I sat there for 18 minutes just for a basic black coffee. When I finally got to the window, they got my order wrong and the girl just shrugged. Has anyone else dealt with that mess or was it just a bad morning?

Ray is right that new spots are always a mess, but an 18 minute wait for a black coffee is more than standard chaos. They had one person taking orders and one person making drinks, so the whole system was doomed from the start. I watched two cars just pull out of line while I was sitting there, which tells you how bad the flow really was. The shrug from the window girl was the worst part like she knew it was all falling apart and didn't care. If they can't handle a morning rush with a simple menu, I'm not sure a few weeks will fix their basic setup.

You mentioned "total chaos" but honestly, an 18 minute wait and a wrong order sounds more like a standard Tuesday than a crisis. I've been to plenty of places where that's just how it goes, especially when they're new and still figuring things out. Your mileage may vary, but I'd give them another shot in a couple weeks before writing them off completely.
