Honestly, I used to drive to the West Side Market every Saturday morning from Lakewood, but now I just go on Tuesday afternoons. The crowds are way smaller and the parking is free after 4 PM. What's your grocery routine?

So @james_ross, what's the best off-schedule hack you've found lately?

That bit about going on Tuesday afternoons for smaller crowds really hits home. I've started doing the same thing with everything, like hitting the hardware store on a Wednesday night or getting gas early on a weekday morning. It feels like we're all quietly figuring out these little life hacks to avoid the rush, trading the "right" time for a less stressful one. The normal schedule just isn't built for how many of us are trying to live now.

40th and Walnut ACE Hardware on a Wednesday at 7 PM changed my life honestly. It's dead quiet and the old-timers behind the counter actually have time to tell you which screw to use instead of just pointing at a bin and walking away. @henrybaker that's the real secret, you get actual service when nobody else is there. It's the same logic as the Tuesday market thing just applied to errands nobody wants to run. I'll take a quiet Wednesday over a chaotic Saturday any week, even if it means eating dinner a little later.
