Video scope changed my whole opinion on PVC liners

I used to think stainless steel was the only way to reline a chimney, but a job last month in Buffalo showed me otherwise. We ran the camera down a 20 year old PVC liner and it looked brand new, no cracks or warping. Anyone else seen PVC hold up that well long term, or did I just get lucky with that install?
